Security at DevDeal
Concrete information about DevDeal authentication, Roblox connections, payments and software requirements.
Official domain
DevDeal's canonical public website is https://devdeal.app. Check the address before signing in or entering payment information.
Account authentication
Roblox connection starts through Roblox's OAuth authorization page. DevDeal receives the authorization result; it does not ask you to paste a Roblox authentication cookie.
Payments
Supported card payments and seller payouts are handled through Stripe. DevDeal uses the resulting payment status to advance the deal workflow.
Downloads and software
Using the DevDeal marketplace does not require a software download or browser extension.
Payment and transfer
Card payments are processed by Stripe. DevDeal tracks confirmed payment and guides the seller through the Roblox transfer. Roblox performs the ownership change; DevDeal checks the expected game or group and receiving destination.
Protection and release
The standard Stripe workflow starts a 24-hour protection period after transfer verification. A successful final ownership check and the required financial checks are needed before seller settlement. Payout readiness is not a promise that funds will reach the seller’s bank at that time. Review, provider failures or unresolved disputes can delay settlement. Report a problem to support or in the existing Discord deal ticket, quoting your deal reference. Historical sales do not necessarily follow this current protection workflow.
What verification does not cover
Checking Roblox ownership does not verify copyright, asset provenance or licenses for scripts, models, music or other content. Buyers and sellers must establish what is included and check the rights involved. DevDeal does not guarantee game quality, revenue, buyer satisfaction, reimbursement or protection from every chargeback.
Problems and refunds
Ownership or payment problems can require manual review and block seller settlement. A refund depends on the deal state and recoverable funds; external costs and the applicable DevDeal fee rules can reduce the amount. Buyer transfer checks do not give the seller immunity from payment disputes. See the existing terms and contact support with the deal record.
