Answers to common questions about listings, offers, payments and Roblox game transfers on DevDeal.
Do you ever ask for my Roblox password or cookie?
DevDeal uses official Roblox OAuth sign-in. Do not send passwords, .ROBLOSECURITY cookies or 2FA codes to DevDeal or anyone claiming to represent it.
What does ownership verification mean?
DevDeal checks the Roblox owner of the game or group and verifies the expected transfer destination. This does not verify copyright, licenses or the provenance of included assets. Both parties must review those rights and the agreed scope.
Can I use more than one Roblox account?
Yes. One main account for signing in, plus up to two additional accounts used to prove ownership. A Roblox account can only belong to one DevDeal user.
Why do I need Discord?
Discord helps reach both parties during a deal. Browsing is public; the listing and transaction workflows show the required account and Discord connection checks.
How does the fee promotion work?
The seller’s first $1,000 of cumulative USD sales is covered. Buying does not consume selling promotion. The seller’s remaining allowance exempts that portion from DevDeal fees for both participants; each pays 5% on the uncovered portion. External payment costs are separate and are not waived.
When does the seller get paid?
In the standard Stripe workflow, settlement requires the protection period after transfer verification, a successful final ownership check and the financial checks. The standard period is 24 hours. Payout-ready does not mean money has been sent or reached a bank; reviews and provider issues can delay it.
What happens if the transfer never arrives?
The workflow can stop settlement and require review or cancellation. Refunds depend on the deal state, actual recoverable funds and applicable fees and external costs. A full refund is not guaranteed. Contact support with the deal record.
Do you perform the Roblox transfer for me?
Roblox performs ownership changes. DevDeal guides the required steps, checks the result and controls when the deal becomes eligible for seller settlement.
Does Transfer Protection prevent every chargeback?
No. Ownership verification supports the transfer workflow, but payment disputes remain subject to provider review. Seller settlement can be blocked or reviewed; DevDeal does not guarantee either party against every loss.
Is my payment card stored on DevDeal?
Card and bank details are handled by Stripe. DevDeal stores payment references and workflow records rather than your card number.
